Increasing the representation of students in STEM from BIPOC, minority, veteran, parenting, and/or other fellow diverse communities is a lifelong passion of Sai’s. In addition to innovating software tools to advance and improve data support to fellow synthetic biologists, Sai serves as the Board Member of the CU Engineering Excellence Fund which invests in student projects. Outside of the lab, much of the downtime is spent in discovery and tinkering by their ever curious four year old.
