As a staunch advocate of Open Source development, Krishna works with collaborators from his PhD granting institution Boston University and bridges the gap to open source community development of synthetic biology tools as a member of the Nona Works Research Foundation. In his downtime, Krishna also mentors iGEM students, tinkers with microfluidics and novel hardware, and thinks about ways to improve our climate and planet.
